If You Can’t Find Hope…

It’s been hard to find the proper words to write lately.

I’ve blamed my overpacked work schedule, a recent illness, the holidays… but the truth is, words just seem to fail with all that’s happening in the world.

Then I heard a song that planted a seed.

The song is by independent artist Able Heart. I first found him on Instagram.

If you can’t find hope, borrow mine tonight.
I’ve been lost too, just trying to get it right.
The sun still rises even when you’re tired of the fight.
If you can’t see the road, walk by borrowed light.

Turns out words are not what I needed to show back up in the world. I just needed a little borrowed light.
