I hope you've been keeping up with Oprah's LifeClass. This week touched on so many important life lessons: ego, letting go of anger, believing in yourself, and living the truth of your life.

Today I want to touch on Tuesday's class "Letting Go of Anger."

Anger is an interesting thing. It can quickly consume you, even if you hold it in. So many energy is wasted on anger. Let's face it when we're angry, we act impulsively, we have clouded judgement, and we take that negative energy into the other parts of our life.

Think about the types of anger you have in your own life. From the little annoyances to full out rage, what's the object of your anger?

For me, it's mostly myself. The anger I've held onto the longest is related to decisions from my past like walking away from music and even letting my weight issues hold me back mentally. I can contribute 99% of the anger I've held onto to those two things. This lesson was a huge "ah-ha moment" for me. I realized that this anger I was holding onto was the exact thing keeping me from moving forward.

In this LifeClass lesson, Oprah talked about how the anger we hold onto is more often than not the result of fear snf sorrow. If fear and sorrow were absent, there would be no anger. So let me ask you, what anger are you holding onto? What do you think you could do to begin overcoming that anger, that sorrow, that fear?

The Webcast that followed this episode was fantastic. I really recommend checking it out!
